Two Truths and a Lie
Returning for special Christmas encore!
Magic, Juggling, and Aquatic Fantasy Creatures
TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE is a new contemporary circus work created and performed by brothers Tal and Yoav Shemesh and directed by Captain Frodo. This multidisciplinary production combines juggling, acrobatics, magic, storytelling, and film to explore the shifting lines between reality and performance. It explores themes of identity, truth, reality, and the role social media plays in them on today’s society.
It centres around a projector screen, which shows what happens on the performers’ phone. Quirky, weird and magical moments begin happening as the performers interact with the screen.
The show flows between serious moments of reflection and moments of silly fun. Between high-level and innovative juggling techniques, expect to find mermaids, genies, famous scientists and various other peculiar characters.
But be careful, for every two things that are real, there may be a hidden lie.
