Bundjalung Nghari — Indigenise

NORPA in association with the Byron Writers Festival presents Bundjalung Nghari — Indigenise. A NORPA production.

Bundjalung Nghari (meaning: story) is a collection of performed stories, poems and essays, penned by First Nations Writers.

Five Bundjalung writers, Steven Oliver, Melissa Lucashenko, Daniel Browning, Kylie Caldwell and Ella Noah Bancroft, explore the healing and resurgence of being back home on country. We are still here, with the same voice and language of our ancestors, Bundjalung Nghari — Indigenise enables a new amplification of the continued truth telling in the 21st century.

Performed by Rhoda Roberts AO, Sarah Roberts-Field, Tom Davies, and Billy McPherson, and featuring live music by Kauri. Curated by Rhoda Roberts AO.

This project is presented by NORPA in association with the Byron Writers Festival, and is supported by the Koori Mail’s Bundjalung Community Flood Relief.
