Ten years bold… we’re celebrating the tenth birthday of the Brunswick Picture House and Cheeky Cabaret this year! Back for 3 big weekends in April!

ABOUT THE CHEEKY…
In a beautiful, sleepy beach town called Brunswick Heads sits a theatre that sat empty for over 30 years… And it’s here in this unlikely little venue where some magic really happens.

This town had no idea what to expect when the Brunswick Picture House flung open its doors in Easter 2016 with its adult variety show, the CHEEKY CABARET. It has redefined a night out at the theatre, smashing together circus, vaudeville, comedy, new burlesque and everything in between. It’s since established its reputation here in the Shire, selling out regularly and attracting international artists who would ordinarily play much bigger stages.

The Cheeky features a different cast of troubadours, miscreants, delectable divas and cabaret queens every season, so no two shows are ever the same! You’ll leave spellbound, titillated and amazed — this is without question the wildest night you’ll have in the Northern Rivers. As always, bring Grandma but leave the little ones at home.

Each season of the Cheeky Cabaret features a different cast of performers and different acts. The Cheeky may contain some brief or full nudity, raucous adult language and highly suggestive or sexual humour. The acts are never gratuitous or in vain; they are intended to titillate, to make your jaws drop, and always to entertain, with tongue firmly planted in cheek. A variety show like the Cheeky means that there is something for everyone, and conversely, some acts may not be to your liking. You may wish to cover your eyes or your ears, but never ever don’t at least give the Cheeky a try!

PREVIEW NIGHT — THU 2 APR
The night of all nights. Preview Night is like taking our show for a test drive — like a dress rehearsal, we’ll be making tweaks, trying out new tricks, swap the running order, tighten up the lights, change the entrances and exits, and we may even stop the show to sort these issues out! It’s as close to a behind-the-scenes look as you can get, the warts and all magic that only happens when a brand new season launches, and at a discounted ticket price before the official season starts on FRI 23 JAN.
