TICKETING
Where can I buy tickets to Brunswick Picture House shows?
Tickets can be purchased via our website brunswickpicturehouse.com by clicking on the event on the home page or in person at our Box Office.
Booking and credit card fees apply when purchasing tickets via our website or in person. Tickets can also be purchased by cash at Box Office.
Some of our shows have Concession tickets — you will need to bring a valid Concession or Student card if you’re purchasing one of those.
How do I receive my tickets?
When completing your ticket purchase online via Eventfinda, tickets are usually emailed within 10 minutes of your purchase confirmation. Please ensure that your email address is correctly entered in your purchase and be sure to check your Junk Mail or Spam folders if you haven’t received your tickets. Eventfinda also contacts all ticketholders with show information via email, so be sure to check these folders.
What are your box office hours?
Our Box Office is located at 30 Fingal Street, Brunswick Heads, NSW 2483.
Our box office hours vary week to week. Every Monday, we post our Box Office opening times on our Facebook page for the week. The Box Office will also be open 2 hours before advertised showtimes for general ticket sales. You can also give us a call and leave a message, if you are having difficulty with online purchases or have a special request. Tickets can be purchased over the phone via credit card. Please be patient — we try to respond to messages as soon as we can!
Box office: 02 6685 0280.
Do you offer group discounts?
We don’t offer group discounts but if you’re planning on bringing a big group to a show, give us a call or drop us a line and let’s talk!
Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
We are unable to grant refunds on tickets unless we inform you that a show has been cancelled or postponed. We can normally transfer your tickets to another performance of the same show, if the show has not sold out.
Unfortunately if you cannot attend, we are unable to resell your ticket for you or find you another buyer.
SEATING
How do I select seats to your shows?
Our tickets are general admission seating. Unfortunately, general admission seats cannot be held or reserved for customers in advance. We will try our best to seat latecomers but please bear in mind that with general admission tickets, ticketholders may not be able to sit together if they arrive late.
Some of our events, such as the Cheeky Cabaret, have a Posh ticket type. This is reserved seating at a cabaret table close to the stage and your seat will be allocated in advance and reserved for you.
Most of our shows are seated but occasionally, we host standing room concerts or events. We will clearly mark these on the website event page.
When do your doors open?
Doors into the venue open approximately 15–20 minutes before showtime. Our kiosk, where you can purchase food, non-alcoholic beverages, tickets and merchandise, is open one hour before showtime.
When doors into the venue open, Housemate ticketholders may enter and grab their seats. After Housemate ticketholders are seated, the doors will then open for general admission ticketholders. For information on how to become a Housemate for an annual fee, please click here.
Unfortunately, once doors open to general admission ticketholders, Housemate seats cannot be held for Housemates, so we encourage all Housemate ticketholders to arrive early to the venue, before doors open.
ACCESSIBILITY & COMPANION CARDS
Is the Brunswick Picture House venue accessible?
Brunswick Picture House is an accessible venue, including toilets. Both the venue and toilets are on the ground floor and there is a ramp to assist you in entering the venue. We ask that accessible ticketholders give us a call or drop us a line in advance of the show so that we can reserve a seat for you.
Does the Brunswick Picture House accept companion cards?
Yes, we accept companion cards. After purchasing tickets, please give us a call to advise that you will be accompanied by a companion, and we will reserve your companion a seat next to you. Alternatively, email us with your booking reference and we will issue a complimentary ticket for your companion. When you arrive, please let our front-of-house staff know.
PROGRAMMING & SHOW INFORMATION
How can I find out what’s showing at the Brunswick Picture House?
To be the first to know what’s coming up, sign up for our newsletter at brunswickpicturehouse.com. We often announce shows and pre-sale ticket opportunities first to our newsletter subscribers.
Can I take photos or videos at the Brunswick Picture House?
While we’re fine for you to take a photo or two or a small video clip, please refrain from filming entire performances, or songs during a show. We’re a little venue and we’d like everyone to enjoy the show without phones or other digital devices being a distraction, especially for those sitting behind you!
GIFT VOUCHERS
Does the Brunswick Picture House sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we do sell gift vouchers, which we lovingly call the Golden Ticket. At the moment, they can be purchased in person — since they are physical vouchers, we are currently unable to sell them electronically. If you’re not in the area, drop us a line or give us a call — we may still be able to help!
If you’re the lucky recipient of a gift voucher, please be sure to drop us a line or give us a call before you come. The voucher’s redemption is subject to seat availability, so make sure you let us know so we can save you some tickets — our shows often sell out! Unfortunately, we are not able to redeem your voucher online.
If you’d like to use one of your NSW $50 Parents vouchers to purchase tickets, please give us a call as these cannot be redeemed online.
HOUSEMATES
How can I purchase a Brunswick Picture House Housemate membership?
Want to get the best seats in the house? For an annual fee, Housemate members can get a 20% discount off most shows, up to 4 tickets per show. Housemate members are also seated first when doors open into the venue, so you can get those front row seats which we know you love! We also host some Housemate-only events and on occasion, make tickets available to Housemate members before they go on sale to the general public. All this for $100/year — click here to become a Housemate!
KIOSK
Does the Brunswick Picture House sell food?
Yes! Check out our Dining & Drinking page.
You won’t be able to bring in any food or snacks purchased from another establishment into the show.
Is the Brunswick Picture House a licensed venue?
We are currently NOT a licensed venue; however, we do have an alcohol partner, Kombi Kollective, who offer a variety of beverages and cocktails in our garden. You can also purchase a variety of non-alcoholic drinks from our kiosk. Check out our Dining & Drinking page to see Kombi’s bar menu.
MERCHANDISE
Where can I buy Brunswick Picture House merchandise?
We love our BPH merch and we love to see you wearing it! We have T-shirts and trucker caps available, as well as tote bags, keyrings and postcards. If you’re not able to make it in person, let us know and we can sort out a purchase for you!
THE VENUE
Does Brunswick Picture House have parking?
Street parking is available on Fingal Street and the surrounding side streets, but make sure you check the signs for any parking restrictions, as these vary.
Can I bring my pet to the Brunswick Picture House?
Yes outside, no, not inside. We know many ticketholders love their dogs and cats and they can definitely keep you company, supervised, in our garden. However, we can’t allow pets inside the venue.
VENUE HIRE
Can I hire out the Brunswick Picture House for an event?
Keen to impress some guests by throwing your event here? Yes, we do hire out our little Picture House for special events and functions, both indoor and out — get in touch with your idea and we’ll take it from there!
VOLUNTEERS
How can I become a Brunswick Picture House volunteer?
We couldn’t run the Picture House without our volunteers. They’re the ones who greet you at the door, give you your wristbands and work their butts off to ensure a fantastic experience for everyone. We love them dearly! If you’re keen to volunteer and you’re mad about the arts, please drop us a line and become one of our fabulous friends with wonderful benefits.
