TAKAYNA — Film Premiere and Book Launch

An all new film and book launch from Bob Brown Foundation.

TAKAYNA — a special event presented by the Bob Brown Foundation and Patagonia.

Through the immense power of personal stories, be taken on a journey to the vast and diverse wild and threatened landscapes of Australia’s largest temperate rainforests in the north west of Lutruwita / Tasmania. The area known as Takayna, the heart of Tasmania, one of the last wild places on earth.

An inspiring and hopeful film, these people are fighting for Takayna. You can as well.

Screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director Matthew Newton and Takayna activist Jenny Weber from the Bob Brown Foundation.

As part of this special event, you’ll also have the opportunity to buy the stunning new coffee table book ‘Takayna / Tarkine: One of Earth’s Last Wild Places’, produced by Australian Geographic in collaboration with our foundation.
